The Wichita Boathouse, located at 515 S Wichita Street, houses the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame, which honors individuals who have significantly contributed to the sports history of Kansas. The museum features exhibits, archives, and interactive displays that celebrate the achievements of notable athletes and coaches across various sports, including football, basketball, and baseball. This site is also home to the America's Cup-winning yacht, America, donated by philanthropist Bill Koch. The Hall of Fame currently has inducted 349 individuals, showcasing the diversity and storied athletic history of the state.
