6th Street Studios & Art Center in Gilroy, CA, has transitioned its space to a local music school, erockschool. The center was known for providing affordable studio, exhibition, and marketplace opportunities, while hosting over 20 free public art events, including monthly Art Walks and Art Markets. Since becoming a nonprofit in 2021, 6th Street offered educational programs, including youth and adult art classes, Spring Break Art Camp, and a Youth Mentorship program. The center played a significant role in supporting local artists and fostering community engagement through creativity.
