About
The Massachusetts Fishermen's Partnership (MFP) is a non-profit organization that has been working tirelessly since 1996 to represent and promote the common interests of commercial fishermen and fishing families in Massachusetts. With a mission to ensure the economic viability of the fishing industry, the MFP collaborates with various fishing associations and advocates for the needs of the fishing community. With over 7,000 fishing families and a fishing economy worth $700 million annually, the MFP serves as a vital voice for the Massachusetts fishing industry. Through their programs, such as offshore wind initiatives and collaborative research, the MFP strives to support and protect the livelihoods of fishermen and the sustainability of the fishing industry in the state.
