Wassmer Park

About

Wassmer Park, located in Prairie Village, Kansas, features amenities such as children's swings, cooking grills, an exercise trail, picnic tables, restroom facilities, and a bocce ball court. It includes two pavilions: the East shelter, which offers four ADA-accessible picnic tables and a grill, and the West shelter, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park is named after former Mayor Laura Wassmer and provides a space for community gatherings and outdoor activities. It also includes a memorial dedicated to the former Faith Lutheran Church that once occupied the site.
